It is hard to believe your not here, my heart is filled with sorrow. I'm gonna miss taking you shopping, family gathering and just hanging out. You kept the family together and we will continue. I thank you for the many things you installed in my heart and never giving up on any of us no matter what. Gonna miss so many things about you. Mother Odell Noel was such a joyful person. She loved the Lord and loved her family.  She also knew the bible.  I remember when we were playing bible trivia, I was on her team, and we won. She knew the Old and New Testament very well.  I will miss her laugh and smile.

Odell,was full of joy and fun loving to be around and she enjoy life to the fullest especially during Mardi Gras time with Family & Friends.I always admire my Aunt Odell's history showing leadership in the community others would come always ask for advice on certain matters.She was a legacy of strenght,bravery & full of great wisdom coming to Los Angeles from New Orleans after the Dr. King's Civil Right Movement in the early seventies(70's) with five children and just a few dollars to her name and all five children turned out to be something special in life.Aunt Odell will always be Honor and continue her legacy,my dream/vision would be to have a movie made on  her life.

As this document stands a testament of time I want other to know that my aunt, Odell Marie Baptist Noel was hands down the best; Not sometimes but all the times-Importantly she did what she said she would do, walked it like she talked it, was always there for you, and most importantly she cared.  Through out my journey on this earth she provided me with a place to run to and encouragement, we have NEVER been at odds.   I will cherish the memories and will miss her for the rest of the days of my life.  To my cousins you were blessed to have her as your mother.
