My Nana was the best woman on earth. She knew how to make everyone feel special, the impact she had on everyone she met is one that cannot be beat. My favorite place to be was sitting at her feet listening to stories of what happend in the past as she talked to her sisters and Papa. No words can fully describe what an amazing woman she was. I have lived my life striving to be just like her and will continue to make myself a reflection of her. She will be missed. I love you Nana <3

Sandy was a special person. When Elayne was hospitalized in 2009 Sandy dropped everything and traveled to the desert to visit her. She and Elayne caused s lot of havoc in the 70's and 80's. Every time I go to the Rubidoux post office I think of Sandy and the old Chevy truck taking out the mail box. She will be missed by all.

My dear friend, Sandy. All the years we shared each others smiles, tears, victories, some defeats and our precious children and Grandchildren. Thinking of all the crazy things we would somehow get caught up in, without really trying. So many memories, I will never forget. The words true, good friend were truly in your beautiful heart.

Tim, I never had the honor of meeting your mom, but one day, and hopefully soon, we will all be together with our loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss.

I knew Sandy for 60 years.  She was a great friend and truly a remarkable person.  She was greatly loved and will be missed by so many.  I am so sorry for the loss we all feel, but especially the loss Dennis and all the kids feel.  I am truly grateful, however, knowing she is home with our Father in heaven.

The world lost a fighter but heaven gained an angel. My mom was sweet to everyone she met. She would go out of her way to do a little nice for someone she loved. Her smile Lit up a room and could brighten someone's day. I love her more than words can describe. I miss u mom , love u

Sandy taught me how to make the perfect pie crust and pie. She taught me how to fry chicken too...via the phone! She crocheted baby blankets for all of my children and my grand babies as well. Sandy was a remarkable lady and so dedicated to her family. She truly will be missed!!! Love you Sandy.

Sandy was a remarkable woman, someone who had such a giving heart. Someone who had a smile that would light of the whole room. She was loved by many and will be missed forever. Sandy and Dennis have been like parents to me for years now. I am very blessed that they have excepted me into their lives. And even more blessed Sandy wanted me with her on her final days. I love you Sandy you have changed me and without you things wouldn't be they way they are today. Much love to the amazing Engel family!!!!

There are so many happy memories my mother has given me, memories that make me laugh, memories that cheer me up, i remember her smile she shared with everyone her love of giving and the way she made us laugh. She was a strong women who lived for the days she was in. "If we can make it through the hard times then lots of happiness will come our way" that is what she once told me. I remember as a child how she would wake me up every morning singing to me the "School Day" song. That song still replays in my head today. She was loved by everyone and she loved them more then anyone could love themselves and even though we wished she could of been here longer were lucky we knew her at all. She may be gone but her spirit,memories,love and everything she taught us  will always remain in our hearts. We love you Sandra forever and always.
