Alex will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.  With our love and deepest sympathy to Elsie, Alexis and Marilou.

I have a very fond memories with Alex.  We met thru our parents back in mid 70'S and the friendship of the family have grew over the years. Alex and i used to go out clubbing with his Z28 from  crystal city to alexandria to falls church and the D.C area. i remember when he always pick me up and we will end up  having a meal at McDonalds every friday.  Ahh that hair he always sporting. we used to tease him and called him Prince Valiant because of that but he was always took it played along with it with a big smile.  Alex, you are now home with the father in heaven along with your mom and dad. Rest in peace my friend. you will be missed !!

Alex was a great example of a good neighbor. When we moved into the neighborhood 28 years ago, Alex came over and introduced himself knowing that we were Filipinos. Ever since that day we met, Alex has been unselfish in sharing his experiences in food, gardening and the places he and Elsie have travelled. He inspired us with his courage and strength by continuing to travel and enjoy life even with his disability. 
Alex, we will miss you and your great stories. God Bless you.

Tito Alex, I've known you and Tita Marilu since i was a little kid though we didn't see much anymore lately but I'm so grateful and thankful that me and Kirsten get to see you and Tita Marilu the last time we went to DC... When i told my daughter what happened she felt so sad, and said she will never forget the day we were at your house. Kirsten said she had fun playing that game that's in the photo which i forgot how we call it 😊 and she said she will never forget your smoothie that you made it for us that's one of her favorite smoothies she ever had... we will miss you!
