I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. He used to send me funny emails and when I had someone try to scam me into a $20,000 air conditioner, he jumped to action on my behalf. He was a mentor and good friend to our family, but most specifically to my late husband, Richard Gabriel. We had a lot of fun with Johnnie and Al, and when I started having children, Johnnie was someone I always turned to for advice. When they moved to Las Vegas we would go out  and stay with them. It always felt like family with them. After my husband passed away, I would visit Al in Las Vegas. I went to Johnnie's funeral, and Al was so happy that I had come. Al and Johnnie couldn't say enough wonderful things about their children and grandchildren. They were always so proud of all of you. My deepest condolences. He stopped answering my emails, and I  investigated and now I know why. RIP Al.

I am sorry to learn that Mr. Lopez passed away.  I knew him when he was a patient with Dr. Robert Odell and featured him on his 92 birthday in our July patient newsletter.  He was a very nice man and loved talking to other patients about his military service.  He was acquainted with Marine Colonel Ed Mockler who was a patient too.  They shared a lot of memories.  Colonel Mockler passed away in 2021.  Both men will be missed!  RIP!
