Anne D. Lewis a retired supervisor passed away peacefully on May 8, 2019 at the age of 75. She was born September 21, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Nevada for approximately 19 years. She was a loving stepmother, a caring grandmother, a supportive sister and fun-loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was also married to the love of her life, Delmar Lewis.
Anne was a devout Catholic and a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan. She loved country music with her favorites being Garth Brooks, Toby Keith and Josh Turner just to name a few. In addition, she loved to dance, watch the roller derby and wrestling.
The love of her life next to husband was her dog, Bandit. Nothing was better than sitting on the couch with Bandit, watching soaps and drinking her boxed wine, White Zinfandel which was her favorite. Anne’s lifelong best friend, Margie was like a sister to her. They were inseparable; they did everything together.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Norma Lyons, her adoring husband, Delmar Lewis; and her 2 brothers, Thomas and James Lyons.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her only sister, Loretta (Edward) Maldonado; 3 nieces, Kimberly King, Terri (Shane) Hartman and Paula Sullivan; 1 nephew, Jeff (Eva) Lyons; 4 great nieces, Amanda (Jesse) Romero, Destiny Hartman, Messiah and Stacie Lyons; 4 great nephews, Anthony (Allysha) and Aaron (Shanna) McLaughlin, TJ and Seth Lyons; 6 great – great nieces and nephews, Jake, Tristan, Mylee, Emilee, Alexandra, and Arianna; 3 stepchildren; Melody, Sheryl, and Delmar; 5 grandchildren, Jason (Heidi), Jimmy, Erica, Crystal, and Nicole; 19 great grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.
