Aretha Mc Gowan, 88, a retired housekeeper, of Las Vegas, passed away July 5, 2013. She was born August 24, 1924 in Pioneer, Louisiana and had been a resident of Nevada since 1970. She was preceded in death by her parents,Judge Decree and Alma Lindsey, her beloved husband of 23 years, Mack Mc Gowan, and her twin sister, Joretha Thomas. Mother Aretha is survived by her niece, Laurella Henson; three great-nephews, Andrew, Preston (Leiestra), and Benjamin Henson, and great-niece, Christy Henson. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10th from 3:00-7:00pm, and the funeral will be on Thursday, July 11th at 11:00am at DowntownPalm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
