

Arias Demarco Lockheart, 30 a resident of the Las Vegas area, passed away in his home on May 22, 2020. He was born December 29, 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri to Tracey D. Cheatham. Mark McIntire became Arias’ Dad when he married Tracey Cheatham in 2009.
Arias graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kansas in 2009. At Shawnee Mission East, he played football for four years and ran track. He made two lifelong friends, Darion Latson and Terrance Thomas. He then went onto play football at Highland Community College in Highland Kansas where he made another lifelong friend, Tunde Bakare. After Arias received his Associates in Arts degree, he transferred to Jacksonville State University to continue his football career. He met another lifelong friend, Mikel Whittier. Arias graduated from college with a Bachelor’s in General Studies in 2016. Arias relocated to Las Vegas in 2014 and eventually came to work at Pepsi Co where he made another lifelong friend, Stacy Portis Jr.
Arias is survived by his son, Ares Andra Lockheart, his parents, Mark and Tracey McIntire, his siblings, Brandey Bailey, Candyze Harris, and Cameron Harris, his cousins Caleb, Milan, Jabria, and Junior, his nieces Ella, Audrey, and Ivey Bailey, his grandparents, Ann (Tom) McIntire, Betty (Andra) Taylor, Cheryl McCain, Phillip Cheatham, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
