Barbara Patricia Ruggeroli

Long time resident Barbara Ruggeroli passed away at the age of 79. Barbara began her heavenly journey on June 2, 2022 after battling cancer during the last few years of her long life. Barbara Patricia Hobart was born on June 27, 1942. She was the eldest daughter of Edward and June Hobart who were long time residents of Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended St. Joseph’s grammar school and proceeded to Bishop Gorman High School where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class in 1960. She married her high school sweetheart Charles Ruggeroli, MD and together they traveled to San Francisco and onto Omaha Nebraska in pursuit of a career in medicine. Along the way they brought six wonderful children into the world. Eventually, they settled in Las Vegas and continued to raise their brood of six. Barbara was preceded in death by her infant daughter Deborah Joan Ruggeroli; husband of forty seven years Dr. Charles Ruggeroli; Mother and Father, June and Ed Hobart; Sister, Robert Peccole; Brother in law, William Peccole; Brother in law, Victor Santos.

Celebrating in the life in the memory of Barbara are: Sons; Dr. Charles E. Ruggeroli [Heather Ruggeroli], Dr. Edward Ruggeroli [Renee Ruggeroli], Enrico Ruggeroli, Nicholas Ruggeroli [Vickie Ruggeroli], Daughters; Nicole Ruggeroli, Alicia Ruggeroli – Wilson [ Dr. Steven Wilson]. Barbara is dearly remembered by her grandchildren: Chance and Kallie, Lauren and Casey, Dylan, Maggie, Gianna, Brock, Trey, Bryce, Nico, Alexander, Connor, Kennedy, Trent and Charlie; great grandchildren: Wyatt and Haegan. Barbara is also survived by two sisters; Virginia Santos and Ramona Hobart; Brother in law, Harry Ruggeroli [Charyll], and nephews; Sean Hobart, Willie and Michael Peccole, Lucas, Evan and Victor R. Santos.

Prayer services will be held at Palm Mortuary 1325 N. Main Street on June 16, 2022 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Prayer service will commence at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Viator’s Catholic Church on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Garden Foundation.
