Barbara Maureen Pierce was born in 1942 in Spanish Fork, Utah, to parents Leona and George Pierce. She graduated from Vo Tech in 1979 and later completed a Respiratory program. Her career included fifteen years at UMC, instructing at PIMA medical institute and management at St. Rose.
After retirement she enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with family.
Barbara enjoyed cooking, sewing, and participating in Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of sixty-two years, four children, Brenda (Dermie), Robert (Cathy), David (Claudia) and Christine (Brad), twenty grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and three great great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, one sister, and one grandson.
Barbara died surrounded by her loving family . Donations can be made in her honor to Keep Memory Alive.
