Brooksann Clancy

Brooksann Dodrill Clancy, age 61, joined Jesus and his angels on Saturday December 16, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her son Clayton was at her side when she passed at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was born to Clara Jane and Robert L Dodrill, Sr. on July 1, 1956 and lived the first 18 years of her life in McArthur, Ohio. She graduated from Vinton County High School in 1974. Brooksann ventured out to Las Vegas and resided there working in the banking business for some 35 years, most recently with City National Bank.

Brooksann was passionate about her faith and was an active member of the Calvary Chapel of Las Vegas. Brooksann was loved by many at the church and continued to share her love for the Lord even in her recent illness.

Brooksann is survived by her son Clayton (Sarah) Clancy and one grandson Dodge. She will be sadly missed by many including her mother Clara Jane Dodrill and father Bob Dodrill, Sr of McArthur and her siblings, Bob Dodrill Jr. (Tara) McArthur, Brenda Rinehart, Dublin, Becky Walton, Hamden. Brooksann will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and co- workers.

Palm South Jones Mortuary handled arrangements in Las Vegas. Brooksann’s final resting place will be Elk Cemetery in McArthur. A graveside service for family will be held at a later time with arrangements handled by Garrett-Carderas Funeral Home in McArthur. Condolences for the family and friends may be left at Legacy.com.
