Born on September 6, 1946, in the Philippines to Venancio and Elena Jimenez, Carlos grew up in Las Piñas and graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1962. He later attended St. Louis University in Baguio City, a time he remembered for the friendships he formed and the independence he gained.
In his younger years, Boyet worked as a home construction contractor, applying his lifelong interest in building and taking satisfaction in helping families put up homes of their own. He later helped manage his father’s construction supply business and went on to serve as a Manager at Manuela Corporation, where he was remembered as a great boss who treated people with fairness and respect, forming lifelong relationships with many of those he supervised.
Later in life, Boyet worked alongside his wife Myrna to build and grow their newspaper distribution business — a partnership that became a meaningful chapter in their lives. After spending cherished time with family in Canada, he and Myrna moved to the United States in June 2024 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Myrna, and their children:
Con (Ace), Cris (Ricky), Len (Shane), and BJ (Diane).
He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren:
Alex (Chris), Abree (Claire), Ejan, Cedric, Luis, and Carlyn,
and by his great-grandchildren Christian, Elizabeth, and Anelli.
He is also survived by his siblings: Letty, Elvie, Agnes, Manny, Danny, Benny and is preceded in death by Annie.
To those who knew him, Boyet was strong-willed, firm in his beliefs, and deeply protective of the people he loved. His strength came from a place of devotion—he lived with purpose, cared fiercely for his family, and showed his love through action more than words. His memory will live on in the lives he shaped and in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
As family and friends gather to honor his life, the following memorial events have been arranged:
• Cremation Rites on December 11 at 10:00 AM (U.S. Pacific Time)
• Celebration of Life in the United States on December 30 at 9:00 AM (U.S. Pacific Time)
• Celebration of Life in the Philippines on December 12 at 5:00 PM (Philippine Time)
