Born on July 26, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, Carol was the daughter of Victor and Alice Miller. She was a devoted mother to her six children: Cendrene (Jim), Dana (Jenny), Lisette (Dave), Courtland (Jenny), Chauntelle, and Carisa (John). Carol was also the proud grandmother of six grandchildren: Carrington, Sebastian, Catherine, Dominic, Henry, and Charlie, all of whom she adored deeply.
For 17 years, Carol’s loyal pup, Nicholas, brought joy and comfort to her life. She loved him deeply. Her home was always open to those in need, and no one was ever a stranger to Carol. She made a lasting impression with her warmth, generous heart, and infectious sense of humor, which she passed down to all of her children.
Carol’s life was rooted in her devotion to family. No one was a stranger to Carol and she would make a friend everywhere she went. Her sense of humor and desire to make others laugh will be cherished memories. Her selflessness and compassion to help others will be part of her legacy of kindness.
Carol was a devout Catholic and the rosary, always within reach, became her refuge during moments of both joy and struggle.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua (6350 N. Fort Apache Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89149). The viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m., with a Mass to follow at 12:00 p.m. A reception will be held immediately following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local ASPCA or animal shelter in her honor, as she had a deep love for animals.
