Charlene Hunter

February 28, 1936 to February 28, 2018

Charlene Hunter was the Head of Telecommunications for Clark County where she worked 1967-1993 and gained the name, "Ma'Bell." Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 1974, and her son, Ralph Bradford Draper in 2011. Charlene was Enterprizing Mother of the Year in 2002 and together with her second husband, Lloyd E. 'Buddy' Hunter was an active member of the Seven Eleven Franchisee Association for more than thirty years. She has two surviving daughters, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and an immeasurable community of loved ones and friends. Services will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be contributed to the charity of your choice in her name, an example of her legacy.
