Danilo lived a rich life, embracing various roles that showcased his skill and resilience. He was a draftsman. He also spent time as a seaman. He worked in various fields, including his time as a Saudia Plant Mechanic in Jeddah, a place and time that created many fond memories for his family. He spent his final working years in Property Maintenance, known for being a reliable handyman.
His passion was cooking and sharing his food. Though not a chef, Danilo's true joy and greatest expression of love was by offering his cooked meals to every guest. His cooking was legendary, especially his perfect empanadas and refreshing lumpiang sariwa, beloved staples at every family gathering that will be deeply missed. He travelled the world, and he always found peace by the water where he could spend countless hours fishing.
Danilo's love story began in Sampaloc, Manila, where he met his wife. They have been together since then. He is survived by his wife, Dessa; his five children: sons Dean, Mike, Evan, and Lawrence, and daughter Catherine; and his many beloved grandchildren. His legacy of practical skill, warmth, and culinary generosity will live on through them.
A viewing and service will be held at the Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, today, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. The program includes a video tribute, family eulogies, and a service by the pastor. The interment will follow at the same location at 2:00 PM.
