

Danny Allen Flaherty "Elvis has left the building" March 4, 1960 - August 16, 2017 Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Born in Magnolia, Arkansas, where he was a 1978 graduate of Magnolia High School. Danny excelled in all sports, earning scholarships in Baseball, Football, and won the Amateur Pacific Coast Kick Boxing Championship. A Las Vegas resident for 30 years. Danny was affiliated with several business adventures in the early years, the last 19 years he spent in the Casino industry. He worked his way from Casino Host, Player Development Manger to Casino Marketing Manager. Danny loved his Irish Roots, Dolphins, Elvis, Andy Griffith, Don Knots, Ribeye Steak, Southern Fried Food, Stromboli at the Four Kegs, Pizza and Twice Baked Wings at the Tap House, Mud Pies, All Sports, Betting people their shoes and Jameson! He didn't care for Disingenuous people, Vegetable's, Salad...okay, nothing healthy. Danny was a private person and believed in staying out of others peoples business. He lived his life on "My Terms" with honesty, trust and respect. Always ready with a Story, Joke, Magic, Card trick or Bet "okay, here's the gig" Danny will be sorely missed by his loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Billy Hugh Flaherty, his brother, Van Hugh Flaherty and his daughter from another father, Jessi Jaymes Potter. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Sullivan Flaherty, his sister, Kathy Bryan and husband, Danny of Magnolia; his niece Lori Bryan of Minnesota; nephew J. R. Flaherty and wife, Maria of Mesquite, Texas; two great nieces and one great nephew of Mesquite, Texas and "My Girl" of 13 1/2 years Cindy Potter of Las Vegas.
