Dayna Hilborn was a friendly, compassionate person that cared more for others than for herself. Dayna was born in Sothern California and moved to Hawaii as a child. Dayna became proficient in styling hair and was soon running a Super Cuts Salon. Dayna later decided to give California a try and settled in Long Beach where she lived the majority of her life. Dayna found work as a Bartender at The Blue Iguana Bar in Long Beach before finding a second “home” at the Red Room Bar, also in Long Beach. At the Red Room, Dayna found many close friends both with her coworkers and bar patrons, that in many ways was became her true family. As I once read, “Friends are the family we choose”. Dayna was her mother’s daughter and was deeply hurt when her parents passed away in 2000. Dayna later moved to Las Vegas with her brother and sister in-law. Dayna is now at peace, in a better place, reunited with Elva and Day, her mother and father. Heaven has a new Angel.
