Deborah was born on February 9th, 1955 in Seneca Falls, NY to Walter and Mina Burgeson and was the only girl out of five children. When she was young, she moved around from time to time as her father was in the Air Force, even living in Germany for some time. She attended Waterloo High School in NY and graduated in 1974. Years later she moved to Las Vegas in 1980 where she became a cocktail waitress at the original MGM Grand (now Bally’s) where she would go on to work for 40 years. It was there she met her former husband Nick Lalli, and even though they separated, they still worked together to raise their two children, son Salvatore and daughter Marissa.
Deborah had a heart of gold and would always think of others before herself. She was a loving mother to her kids and a dedicated Christian who attended services regularly and was even baptized at Canyon Ridge Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to movies, dining out, karaoke and outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, fishing and boating. She would visit her family in upstate NY regularly for their family reunion, often times bringing her kids with her. She was a lover of all animals, especially her two dogs, CJ and Honey. She liked going to paint classes with her daughter and would often attend concerts with friend and dance through the night.
Deborah is survived by her children, Salvatore and Marissa; her brothers, Dennis, David, Brian, and Mark; her mother, Mina; and her many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter.
