Dad, I knew our time would not last forever. I'm sorry you are gone. You were always a positive inspiration in my life and you taught me never to give up. And I inherited your wit and charm. Thank you for all those happy memories of picking me up after you had done a hard day's work at the Hawaii Kai Golf Course mechanics shop then taking me home to serve me cookies. I will cherish those memories until the day I die. Or I've lost my mind. Jury's still out.  I wish I had more pictures from you but I don't. I wasn't into taking pictures back in the day. 
I wish you were still here to see what I believe will be the greatest time in America's history (don't watch fake news).  And by that extension Hawaii's as well. I hope you come back to a better future if you're not ready to join the Source. I love you Dad and I always will. It's going to be tough not hearing your ringtone anymore. 

Hey dad, I'll miss you. I'm sorry I started to grow apart from you even though we were living in the same house, and I'm sorry I couldn't choke out any cheesy last words for you while you were still here. I think that all things given, you really tried your best raising me and I appreciate that. I wouldn't ask for any other person to father me in a million years. I don't think anyone could beat your dad jokes anyway. 
I'll always remember riding on the back of the scooter when you dropped me off at elementary school (P.S, I never once thought it was embarrassing like you kept saying). Or sitting on your lap as a little kid and watching the boogeyman come out on wrestling. And the time I almost gave you a heart attack when I cannon balled you half asleep after a roach crawled up my leg. 
I wish you could have stuck around for my graduation, so I could show off to you one last time, but I guess I'll have to make due with your ghost watching. You went too early, but I'll try my best for you in the future. I love you.

I was honored to meet such a good man. The day I met you leaves an unforgettable memory. We were traveling to  go to a special occasion but the driver was incompetent and caused everyone to lose their head. I was amazed of how calm you were when we met an unfortunate situation. Uncle Don... you are terribly missed. I wish I can hug you one more time.
One of my fondest memories with Uncle Don was watching wrestling every Monday night together when I was in high school. Somehow, it became a tradition for all us cousins, and it took the edge off from starting a new week in school. In this memory, we are one. We are a unit. We are a big family. As part of Uncle Don's family, it has been both an honor and a privilege. His kindness did not go unnoticed, and it was apparent to me and all my siblings. His kindness is his legacy. It was more than a nice gesture or a warm feeling but a steadfast love in action. Even when life's daily cares and distance got in between of us, he kept in touch and checked on me and he never ever forgot to say "God Bless". His desire and his heart for us is one like God's, it has always been good. Uncle Don, thank you for loving us unconditionally, for looking out and caring even when you were so far away. To my loving uncle with a pure heart, I love you. When I see you again, I will give you the tightest hug.

Daddy...I know you are no longer in any pain and are at perfect peace in the presence of our Lord, but, oh it hurts so much that you're no longer with us. I will always be forever grateful for everything you did for me. I know that it wasn't always easy and that you longed to give me more, but what you did give -- your unconditional love, your time, your understanding, your patience, your wisdom, your laughter -- those were what really mattered. You generously gave so much of yourself to everyone around you without expecting anything in return, opening your heart and home to all. You were the best dad a girl could ever hope for and I love you madly. I am going to miss our phone calls, your goofy texts, your hugs, hearing you sing old country songs. I will always remember you singing me to sleep with "Scarlet Ribbons," picking us up after school so we could spend the afternoons with you even though you were tired from a long day of work, spending our weekends with you, dropping me off and giving rides to me and my friends, taking me to church on Sunday mornings. So, so many memories. So many more memories I wish that we got to make. I love you forever Daddy. I'll always be your little girl. Until we meet again some glorious day...

First memory of my uncle was him being in the Army during Vietnam. Got to stay in his room growing up and playing his guitar. He sounded so much like his Dad. Will be sorely missed. See you in Heaven.

My Condolence to your family. I’m going to miss visiting Don across the street and our political conversation. Don is wonderful person. I’m honored to be his Friend and neighbor. Rest In Peace my friend.

Don was in a truck club (Dodge Ikonz) I started in Hawaii. Uncle Don was that cool old man. He was one of the first 5 members of a group that grew to over 50. Always happy and willing to talk about anything. He loved his truck and being around people who shared the same passion. He was very supportive of me and always gave me advice and words of encouragement. His first impression of me  the first day we met for a club gathering at Hawaii Raceway Park was “eh, you just a young boy! You sound older on the phone”.  I think it’s safe to say I don’t miss his truck alarm system, though it always got a lot of laughs and he was very proud of it. I’ll miss his facebook messages and checking in with me every holiday.  Love you uncle Don. 

My Father, what is there to say. There is no words in any language to describe how I feel about losing you so soon and out of nowhere.  The man who showed me world of Baseball and the love of the New York Yankees and Pro wrestling, and realizing this will be the first opening day, Wreastlemania, Birthday, Fathers day, Thanksgiving,  and Christmas  without you.
  It may sound cliche, but you were and still are the greatest father  a kid growing up could ask for. Even with such a large age gap I would never even dream of trading you for another.  You and mom gave me everything and I can only pray that I'll find something in life that'll make you both proud of me one day. Rest in peace Dad, you earned the rest and deserve to finally be free of your pain.

God saw you getting tired and cure was not meant to be. So he put his arms around you And whispered ' Come to Me '. Although we love you deeply, your golden Heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us. He only take the best. You touch so many lives with your kindness, caring, loving and peaceful nature. You will surely be missed. I am proud and glad that I had an opportunity to spend quality time with you. I will never forget all the help and good deeds you've done for me. I remember our last conversation over the phone and never thought  it was the last goodbye. Manong, may you rest in the hands of the LORD.

Without you, maybe I have no chance to walk my feet here in America  I’m very much thankful for the un-ending love you gave to my family most especially to Harold you treated him as your own son. My Dad and Uncle Donald were good friends and was working as a light/heavy equipment operator at Hawaii Kai Golf Course many many years ago.  As I can remember,  we used to have lots of gatherings at Uncle Donald's & Aunty Lillian's house in Waimanalo Banyan Tree town house where we grew up with Clarence, Jimmy, Walter and Roger.  After all those years went by, I found him on facebook couple years ago and talked with him many times, especially on occasions.  He will be missed but not forgotten.  Uncle Donald, may you rest in peace, fly high and wide watching over all of Us especially yoir Ohana.  And please tell my Dad, my Mom and Jerry boy that Braddah and I miss and love them so much until we meet again.  I love you Uncle Donald!😘

I have nothing much to say about you uncle Don. Rather than how wonderful you are. You really have a big heart. You're such a nice and loving person. You have shown us how much you care. Not only to your family but to all those people around you. 
I will miss seeing you in your recliner  whenever i come and visit...Its so heart breaking to think that  No more hello uncle when i go visit again..  sad to think that you're gone now.  Uncle Don, you will always be in our hearts.  I do miss those little chit-chats.  

Donald was a great man,his brothers Thomas and  Stanley are missing him greatly but  we all have fine memories of him. He was always smiling and never had anything bad to say.

   From the day we met, you brought light into my life, “it seems only yesterday, that I can still remember every detail, every word you said”.
   And from the day we got married, we have been partner in crimes. Through the years “31 years 7 months 4 days” (seems so long time ago in a very short time) of many ups and downs we remain inseparable. As we flip the pages of our story, we become stronger facing so many challenges God has given us, you never give up and so do I. Your forte was my nourishment to conquer all odds. You  & God were my cornerstone and always will be. 
   You thought me how to dream big and reach for my dreams and beyond. Besides’ from God you were my guide. my comfort, my punched bag and a shoulder to lean on. I am grateful, I am thankful that you’re part of my life forever. I have no regret marrying you and will marry you again and again. We have been blessed with two beautiful children “Bernard and Cheyenne” that you have dreamed of “growing old” in their presence. 
   Thank you for the awesome journey of being a mother and wife, thank you for loving me without conditions, thank God for sending you to my life as my night and shining Armor, my Angel from heaven, and above all, thank you for the greatest love and compassion you devote for me, I couldn’t ask for any better.
