

Born on September 14, 1935, in Yonkers, New York, Don was the beloved son of David Tracey and Ann Singleton. He spent the majority of his life in Yonkers, where he built deep roots and lifelong friendships.
On July 20, 1958, Don married Janet Sutton, the love of his life, with whom he shared a loving 49‑year marriage. Together, they raised six children: Donald Jr., Kathleen (deceased), Debra (deceased), Diana, Daniel, and Dennis. Don and Janet moved to Las Vegas in 1992, beginning a new chapter filled with sunshine, family gatherings, and cherished memories. Janet passed away in 2007, leaving Don with a lifetime of shared love and legacy.
In 2012, Don found companionship once again and married Martha, with whom he spent his later years.
A proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, Don was blessed with ten grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren: Kristin, Tracey Lee, William, Peter, Ashley, Kimberly, Terrence Jr., Megan, Victoria, Adam and great grandchildren Cole, Lily, Peyton, Eliana, and Liam. He took immense joy in watching them grow, celebrating their accomplishments, and passing on the traditions and stories that defined his family.
Don dedicated 35 years to IBM, where his work took him around the world. He played a pivotal role in implementing accounting systems for the company, earning the respect of colleagues near and far for his leadership, expertise, and steady professionalism.
Beyond his career, Don’s true passion lay in supporting youth and building community. He spent many years coaching local sports teams and went on to establish the Lud‑Dale Association, a safe and positive environment for youth athletics in Yonkers. His influence on young athletes—and the values he instilled in them—remains one of his most meaningful legacies.
Don was a devoted member St George Anglican Church for many years.
Don will be remembered for his generosity, quiet strength, sharp mind, and unwavering love for his family. His life touched many, and his memory will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife Martha, his children Don Jr, Diana, Danny and Dennis, grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were shaped by his guidance and kindness.
