It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of my beloved, Edward F. Torres, who was not only a devoted partner but also a cherished son, father, brother, and friend. He left us on July 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Chief Torres proudly served the United States Air Force for 30 years, achieving the rank of Master Chief. His commitment to his country and his fellow service members was unwavering. He cherished his time in the Air Force and held special bond with his brothers and sisters in arms, always striving to keep the jets in the air. After his honorable retirement, he continued to serve as an M1 Maintenance Manager, finding joy in remaining close to his military family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy, his son, Sebastian; his daughter-in-law, Brianna; and his two precious grandchildren, Kai and Kali. He is also survived by his mother, Renee Torres; his brothers, Carlin and Gus; his sister, Cathy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
To his brothers and sisters in the United States Air Force, thank you for your service and for the camaraderie that meant so much to him. To my husband, thank you for everything you did to build our home and for being there for our family. You will forever be in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnel To Towers Foundation.
