

Erlinda was born on November 19, 1939 in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. Her parents were Dominador and Antonia Torres. Erlinda was raised in Baco, Sta Rosa. Erlinda was raised with four siblings, Romeo, Dante, Carlomagno, and Lamberto. All of Erlinda's playful good humor carried over into her childhood. As a result, Erlinda experienced a rather active childhood, and this suited her very well. Erlinda's memorable achievements included winning the title of Miss Sta Rosa. Erlinda graduated from Mindoro High School in 1954. She enjoyed some courses more than others, having favorite classes and teachers. Her favorite classes in high school were math and english. She became a muse of Miss Baco. She earned her Bachelors Degree in pharmaceuticals. On October 23, 1960 Erlinda exchanged wedding vows with Narciso Herrera Ferma at San Agustin Church of Mender, Cavite. Erlinda was blessed with six children, two sons, Joel and Jun; and four daughters Dinah, Jocelynn, Karen, and Noreen. They were also blessed with eight grandchildren, Joe, Kriselle, RC, Jose, Daniella, Paolo, Elijah, and Dominic. Vested with a deep concern for spiritual development, Erlinda recognized that her faith was important to her throughout her life. She was a member of the catholic church. During that time, she diligently attended bible study. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary. Erlinda was laid to rest in Palm Northwest Memorial Park in Las Vegas, Nevada. Erlinda brought joy to all of those around her. She never had a mean bone in her body. She loved to have a good time and was an eternal optimist, always looking on the bright side of things. She loved to share her energy, wit, and her zest for all of her activities with her friends and family. Erlinda Torres Ferma lived life to its fullest and made everyone around her happier just for knowing her. She will be remembered with a smile.
