My Mama, 

.... there are no words can describe my sorrow. Losing you, means losing my source of my breath, all that I am is because of you. I am thankful that you are my mom, the best teacher of all time. 

There are so many things that I want to share about you, but my page will not have enough room. One thing for sure, you will never forget us and will always watch over us.

 I remember, you won't hesitate to give away your blessing to someone in-need and although they don’t remember your kindness, you keep giving until there’s nothing left for you. Never complain about the flaws of life, through ups and down you always prevail and hold on to our creator. You always find a way to provide for our needs and make our days beautiful. You motivate us to do our best and you are always there to hold us when we stumble. Your unwavering love for us is the corner stone of our unbreakable bond, you are the strength of our family, and I will cherish forever. 

I will miss your cooking, you never get tired of preparing food for everyone, the warmth of your hugs, your lovely smile, your   positive views, laughter whenever in any given time. I will be lost without your opinion in every step that I make but I know you will always be there to guide me. 

Mama, only an ungrateful and selfish will not applaud your sacrifices, you did your best and you did beyond expectation of raising five children, you did more than you suppose to do. I thank God every day for giving me you, my mother, my best friend forever, best teacher, best provider, and now my guardian Angel. 

I was never tired having you in my care. I am so blessed for giving me the chance to love you, to hug you every day and to share a wonderful life with you. If I was able to share my last breath with you, I would have given it to you, just to have one more day to spend with you. 

Mama, fly high and dance with the Angels, you will remain in my heart forever.

My Dearest Grandma 
Grandma’s heart was one of the kindness and most pure. I know grandma is watching over our family. Blessing us with your love and guidance. May the Lord have you in his arms. I hope you at peace and reunited with our loved ones. There is no words  that can adequately express how special you made me feel, how deeply you touched my life. I find myself overwhelmed with emotions as I write this condolence letter to you. A memory I will cherish forever, was when me and Wilfred would go visit the family for Christmas or a celebration. Grandma would insist and tell us to, “ GO EAT ”. She made sure we ate. Your Lumpias  and Pancit was one of a kind. Thank you for all the Christmas and birthday celebrations we spent together. I’m so thankful for love and so grateful for watching over Wilfred in those hard times. Grandma, there will never be anyone quite like you. You have left an indelible mark on my heart and soul. Grandma Eugenia. As I bid you farewell, I remember, the last visit, you held my hand. Trying to communicate to Wilfred in your language. In that moment, little did I know it would be the last time I see you. It’s not a goodbye,  Grandma it’s til we meet again. We going to miss you dearly Grandma.

Mama, I am deeply thankful for all the love and care you gave me. I may not be your biological child, but you loved me truly as your own daughter. I am so grateful that you showed me the love of a mother—a love without hatred, without conditions. I’m blessed to have known you and you will always be dear to me.

I will continue praying for you. May God welcome you into His loving arms, and may you be granted eternal peace and rest in heaven. Rest in joy and light in paradise, Mother. You will never be forgotten. Thank you so much. Farewell, until we meet again in heaven.

The Best Grandma I Never Had — But You Never Missed a Day Telling Me You Loved Me

People often picture grandmas as warm, comforting figures — the ones who bake cookies, share bedtime stories, and fill your childhood with cherished memories.

And while our relationship didn’t follow that traditional path, what we had was just as meaningful — maybe even more. We may not have spent every holiday together or shared those picture-perfect moments, but you gave me something rare and irreplaceable: your voice, your love, and your presence — every single day.

You never skipped a call. You never missed a chance to say, “I love you.” No matter what was going on in life, you made sure I knew I was on your mind and in your heart.

You may not have lived close by or been there for every milestone, but you were always there in the ways that mattered most — with a consistent love that never wavered, and a voice that reminded me, again and again, that I was never alone.

That kind of love — steady, patient, and unconditional — is something many people never experience. But you gave it freely. And I will hold onto it for the rest of my life.

So today, I’m not just saying goodbye to my grandma. I’m saying goodbye to the woman who made me feel loved every single day. My constant. My comfort. My reminder that no matter what, I was enough.

Thank you for being the best grandma I never really got to have in the usual way — but who showed up, without fail, in the most beautiful way of all.

To celebrate the life of a woman who gave so much, asked for so little, and loved without condition — my mother.

There are so many good things I could say about her, but above all, my mother was the heart of our family. She was our safe place — the one who held us together in hard times and reminded us of joy in the little things. Whether it was the warmth of her cooking, the softness of her voice when we were hurting, or the strength she showed even when life was difficult — she gave us comfort, and courage, just by being there.

She taught me kindness not through words, but through action. She helped people, even when she had little herself. She forgave easily, loved deeply, and never hesitated to put others first. Her generosity extended far beyond our home — to neighbors, friends, and even strangers.

She worked hard — sometimes too hard — but she never complained. She sacrificed so that we could have better. She dreamed of a brighter future, not for herself, but for us. Every step I take today, every value I hold, carries her fingerprints.

She wasn’t perfect, none of us are — but her imperfections only made her more real, more human, and more admirable. Because through all of life’s messiness, she never stopped showing up. With a smile, with patience, with love.

Even now, as I say goodbye, I can still hear her voice in my heart. Telling me to be strong, to take care of the people I love, and to carry on with grace — just like she did.

So today, we don’t just grieve. We honor her. We thank her. And we promise to keep her legacy alive in the way we live, the way we love, and the way we show up for each other.

Rest well, Mama. You were, and always will be, the best part of us.
