

Fletcher M. Petetan was born in Call, Tx on January 3, 1944 to Eugene MacDonald Petetan and Ethel Henson. She departed this life after fighting a good fight on February 3, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ethel and Eugene moved their family from Call, Tx to Los Angeles CA in 1953. Fletcher was educated in the Los Angeles County School systems where she graduated from Centennial High School, Class of 1961.
In 1963 Fletcher gave birth to a beautiful daughter Crystal Brown and welcomed her second child Russell Guy in 1966. In 1970 Fletch met the love of her life Alfred A. May. They married and moved their family to Las Vegas, NV in 1975.
Fletcher attended and graduated from UNLV in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She went on to work for Clark County Social Services for the next 32 years where she retired. Fletcher loved her work, her clients, and her co-workers dearly.
Fletcher loved traveling with her mother to numerous destinations. She loved fine dining, her soul food, cooking, baking, watching her westerns, cars, shopping, and reading. Fletch was all about her family, her dearest and closest friends, and her children. They were her life.
She leaves to cherish her memory with her mother Ethel Petetan (94 years young), her daughter Crystal Brown-James, her son Russell Guy, her two nephews John and William (Keith) Lewis, daughter in law Millicent James-Brown, close friends Bobbie Dent and Beverly Thompson, Susan Allmer, a host of cousins, nieces, grand children, relatives, and friends.
