Francis G. Andrews Jr.

Francis (Andy) G. Andrews Jr.,70, of Las Vegas, passed away with family by his side at the Infinity Hospice Center on Thursday, November 24, 2016. He was born June 20, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis G. Andrews and Betty M. Andrews. He was a graduate of Dundee High School, of Dundee, NY and a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he earned two degrees from the University of Maryland and The Community College of the Air Force. Andy was a dedicated servant to his community and served as the Nevada State DAV Commander and Nevada DAV State Commissioner. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed traveling and sharing adventures with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally L. Andrews; sons Joseph (Rose) Andrews, Keith (Myrna) Andrews, Carljay Andrews and daughter Margaret (Sal) Cefalu; siblings Beverly (Gary) Holland, Patricia Andrews, Earl (Debbie) Andrews, Janette (Don) Foster, Robert (Susan) Andrews, and Joyce (Dan) Doty; grandsons Nicholas (Jackie) Cefalu, Nicholas Royster, Christopher Andrews, Steven Andrews, Marty Royster, Samuel Cefalu, Cody Andrews and Casper Royster, and one great grandson, Brycen Cefalu; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and daughter, Tammy Cupit.

Services will be held at the Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 Main St., Las Vegas Nevada on Monday, December 5, 2016. The Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00, with funeral services from 11:00-12:00 noon.
