Gary Dayton Atkin

Gary Dayton Atkin, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Gary was the only son of Lewis and Margaret Atkin. Born on September 6, 1941, in Las Vegas, NV. He proudly graduated from the Historic, Las Vegas High School, in 1959. A Native Nevadan, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV.

Gary was an Independent Insurance Agent for many years. He was the President of the NIIA (National Independent Insurance Agency), from 1991- 1992. He was a member of the LV Breakfasters Lions Club, and was a charter member of the Canine Companion.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Catherine; his two sons, Trevor and Brandon; and Grandchildren, Kelcie and Jayden.

Gary’s services will be held at, Our Lady of Wisdom - Italo-Greek Byzantine Catholic Church, where he has been a parishioner since 1997. A Panachida (Memorial Service) will be celebrated for Gary on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Wisdom - Italo-Greek Byzantine Catholic Church, located at, 2120 S Lindell Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89146.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Gary’s name to, Our Lady of Wisdom - Italo-Greek Byzantine Catholic Church.
