Gary L. Reese, 65, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. He was born Dec. 19, 1944, in San Diego, and was a 55-year resident of Nevada. Gary served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired welder for the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 525 and was a superintendent for REECO at the Nevada Test Site. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. Gary is survived by his wife, Pat Reese; sons, Joey (Shelly) Reese and Danny (Stephanie) Reese; grandsons, Gunnar Reese and Jeremy Reese; and granddaughter, Kaylee Reese, all of Las Vegas. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
