George A. Noyes entered Heaven’s gates on September 13, 2016, at the age of 59. On April 9, 1957, the world became a better place; George was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach, California to his loving parents Chet and Mary Noyes and caring siblings Cherie and John. He grew up in Lakewood, California and later graduated from Lakewood High School. Soon afterward, George began his promising career as a linguistic practitioner (salesman).
One night while bowling, George met the love of his life, Rosa. They fell in love, later married and were together for the past 32 years. Together they raised their pride and joy, Jennifer. Eleven years later, George and his family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he resided for the past 21 years. George loved good food, coffee, drumming, bowling, The Lakers, baseball, cars, learning and sales (he was one heck of a businessman), but most of all, George loved people. Anyone that George met became an instant friend. His ability to see the good in people was truly unmatched. He had a big heart and a sense of humor that was contagious.
George was a fiercely devoted and loyal husband, father, "Papa G", son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
He is survived by his wife Rosa and daughter Jennifer Ferriolo, her husband Joe Ferriolo, Jr. and three grandchildren (Makenzie, Reagan and Justus Ferriolo); Siblings, Cherie Grant (her husband Bruce and their daughter Melanie), John Noyes (his wife Darline); and many cousins and friends.
Words cannot describe how deeply George was loved and how very much he will be missed.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; after the service, a reception will take place celebrating George’s life, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Palm Northwest Mortuary, located at 6701 North Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131.
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
