We celebrate the life of our beloved Gregory ("Greg") Ellis Beasley, age 69, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Gregory was born on the 2nd day of September, 1956, in Warren, Ohio and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Greg established a spiritual relationship with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ at an early age.
Greg attended Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. However, he found his passion and vocation as a certified electrician. Greg was a key figure in the building of several hotels, complexes and schools in the Las Vegas area, such as Wynn Las Vegas, CityCenter, and Ed Von Tobel Middle School etc .. Greg retired as a proud member of IBEW Local 357.
In 2005 Mr. Greg met Marva Love of Las Vegas, NV. It was then that he knew she would be the woman that he would spend the rest of his life with. Greg and Marva married on December 9, 2006. They completed each other, they had a great deal of respect for one another and together they shared a love that neither of them had experienced before. They both had a love for God and in 2017 they joined the Mt Jameson Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dorothy Hayes and Apostle Randy Hale. Greg served faithfully as a Deacon of the church with his wife alongside him, until the Lord said "rest".
Greg had an immense love for his children, he often spoke of how proud he was of them and their accomplishments. Greg was a pillar of the community, he kept a watchful eye for those who needed assistance. Greg helped his neighbors with household needs such as maintenance, repairs, landscaping, security light installations etc. Just his presence alone made the neighborhood feel safer.
