Haydee Jeanette Nuno, a devoted mother, grandmother, and lifelong caregiver, passed away surrounded by her family who loved her deeply. Her life was defined by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to caring for others.
Jeanette spent more than 20 years as a Pediatric Registered Nurse, where she poured her heart into supporting children and their families. Her gentle presence, steady professionalism, and deep empathy made her a trusted and beloved figure to countless patients. After retiring from clinical nursing, she continued her passion for the profession by teaching at the College of Southern Nevada for six years. As a simulation specialist, she found joy in guiding future nurses, sharing her experience, and inspiring students with her warmth and wisdom.
Family was the center of Jeanette’s world. She cherished the simple, meaningful rituals that kept everyone close—especially the Sunday dinners where the family gathered each week to break bread, share stories, and enjoy one another’s company. Those evenings became a tradition she held dear, a reflection of the love and togetherness she nurtured throughout her life.
Jeanette leaves behind her son Robert Nuno and his wife Serina, her son Justin Buck and his husband Danish, and her cherished grandchildren Ethan and Kayleigh, who brought endless joy and light into her life. Her love for them was constant, generous, and unconditional.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, her strength, and the way she made others feel cared for and understood. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched—through her work, her teaching, and the family she nurtured with so much love.
A celebration of Jeanette’s life will be held at the La Crescenta Woman’s Club, located at 4004 La Crescenta Ave, Glendale, CA 91214 on Saturday 01/24/2026. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor and share in remembering the warmth and compassion she brought into the world.
