I am so saddened by the news of your passing but so grateful to have known you. We started as interns together, and I was always so impressed by your kindness and passion -- both for your work and for your family. Thank you for being a friend. Sending my love and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

Hilda, I will always remember you reaching out to me when I was diagnosed with cancer to help me learn from your experience.  I pray that your family finds comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and are watching down on them with a loving heart.
