James Edgar Davis, Sr. 74 of Pahrump, Nevada passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. He was born December 5, 1940 to Ray and Jewel Davis in St. Louis Missouri. Jim was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada from 1974-2005, then semi-retired in Pahrump, Nevada. He loved the slower pace of life that Pahrump offered along with the many friends he made there. Jim was a long-time Auto Wrecker. He fulfilled his vision and dream by establishing "Davis Auto Wrecking", 1982-present. In addition, he and his wife pioneered Hollywood Blvd., located next to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Most importantly, Jim was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife Carmen, sons; James Jr. (Jimmy), Douglas, daughters; Desiree, Lori, and 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, sister Beverly and numerous nieces and nephews. "Jim will be missed by everyone who knew him." Viewing visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Saturday, February 7 with services on Sunday, February 8 at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV.
