James Joseph Fulgoni

James Joseph Fulgoni "Big Jim", age 75, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. James was born March 20, 1945 in New York, NY to his parents, Silvio Joseph and Angela Marie Fulgoni. James proudly served his Country as a Marine. He attended college at Ivy Tech Community College in Central Indiana. James was a Firefighter on the Carmel Fire Department in Carmel, Indiana. He later moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and became a Honolulu Police Officer before advancing to the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. While in Hawaii he met the love of his life, Shawna and they were married. After retirement Shawna and James relocated to the "Ninth Island" Las Vegas 6 years ago and he became a Driving Instructor for Cantor's Driving School. James loved to go on cruises, traveling and singing karaoke. He even had the honor to sing with Diana Ross at the Wynn. While living on Oahu he enjoyed riding his Harleys around the island. He loved Hawaii. James was preceded in death by his son Donald Fulgoni and his brother Donald Fulgoni. James is survived by his wife, Shawna Marie; his children, Leslie Fulgoni, Clinton (Sheila) Fulgoni, Bernice Fulgoni, Drew Cowser; daughter in law, Nikki Fulgoni; his grandchildren, Tyler, Micah, Jordan, Jamie, Dwayne, Briana and Maddox; his brother Marco, sister Gina and his Uncle Louis Colciaghi. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 20, 2021 at 10:00AM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131
