When we think of a soul passing to eternity we know in our hearts that it will be the beginning of the ultimate journey for the traveler as well as the loved ones left behind. When we ponder the thought of this worlds end for our beloved we expect it will be a time of reflection, family, kindness, love, and gatherings for support. All of this brings a life of a good man full circle. When this trip has come after 91 years there is an extra understanding that a life has been lived and a story has been told with many adventures and characters making this man's life exceptional. The passion of meeting a young girl and falling in love and staying with that beautiful woman until his last breath. The adventure of living in different places and learning work ethics that last a life time. The pride of having four fine sons that are gentlemen, family men and honorable men like their father. The passing of a man and his moving to the next level of living is a mix of emotions for those of us left behind. Sadness that you won't be here to answer questions that arise about life that has gotten in the way. Only you can guide us clear of the collision. Pride that you were our dad and boy were we lucky to get the best dad God ever created. Happy that you are not suffering and that your faith has taken you to the heaven that we all yearn for. Humble because you meant so much to all of us. And even though you are now gone our lives are richer because you were a part of it and a part of us. There are just not enough words to say for you dad and to introduce your silent passing to the world. Now its up to us grievers to carry on with life but not with out you. We will keep you in our pockets right next to our hearts where you have always comfortably been. We will know your with us when we are having a hard time with an automobile and you whisper that answer that has plagued us. You're just a journey away and we'll be seeing you again.
