He was predeceased by his parents, Natalie Ducas Steffen and Ernest Block Steffen, Jim was the husband of Joanne Tully Steffen of Las Vegas, NV, and Brother of Elizabeth Steffen of Old Saybrook, CT.
He was educated in The Bronx and at Baruch College, City University of NY, as an Accountant and had an extensive career as an Accountant, Finance Officer and Consultant. He enjoyed long term participation in the Ancient Mariners of Guilford, CT, as a Member and Master of the Siliam Lodge of Old Saybrook, CT.
Jim is survived by his wife and sister, his son, Michael Cossman Steffen, Daughter-in-law, Maristela Salvador Steffen and his Granddaughters, Madeleine Rose and Margeaux Norene, also of Las Vegas, NV.
Jim will be Interred in Old Saybrook, CT.
