Jarau DuShaun Jones was a caring dad, loving big brother, nephew and cousin that we will all miss and keep alive through memories and love. Jarau died as a young man, but full of life. He loved his two boys, Charles C Jones (CJ) & Christian Jones, and always talked about how much he missed them while living in a different state. He enjoyed telling jokes, always trying to make the people around him laugh. Jarau kept a positive attitude no matter what situation he was in. Jarau had a passion for hip-hop music. He loved to rap, write music and perform.
Jarau attended James D. Price Elementary School (Yuma, Arizona), McArthur Middle School (Comanche County, Oklahoma), Eisenhower Middle School (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) and graduated from MacArthur Senior High School (Lawton, Oklahoma).
Jarau is preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Lasha Stanford, his sister, MarLisa Lasha Jones, and his aunt, Nikita Michelle Harris. He is survived by his sons, Charles Jones and Christian Jones, his father Charlie E. Jones, his sister, Laquincia Stanford, and stepsister, Gia Jones, his grandparents, Juanita & James Rosser, grandparent, Curtistine Jones, his aunt, Nelwyn Harrison, his uncle, Deondra Harrison, his uncle Quincy Harrison and a host of cousins.
Now that your work here on earth is done, the Lord has called you home to be with your mother, Lisa Stanford, and sister, MarLisa Jones. You will truly be missed. You are now at peace, smiling down on us with your headphones. We love you, Jarau. Rest well.
