My heart goes out to you all. I am without words. But wanted you all to know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. One of my favorite memories of Jimmy was when the Suns beat the Lakers.  We all went downtown. It was bumper to bumper with fans, traffic started moving and Jimmy fell out of the back of the truck on to the pavement. He jumped up yelling I'm ok, I'm ok. He was and we had a great time. He always made us sit in the same seats while the games were on. Loved that about him. RIP Jimmy.  Love to all. Barb

I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of Jimmy passing!  I have such fond memories of Jimmy and when I lived in Phoenix Jimmy lived in the same apartment complex as me! I would visit and chat with jimmy and he always looked after me like a big brother!  I felt safe and secure around jimmy!  He was a great guy with a big heart!  Jimmy was there with a shoulder to cry on when his brother Joe broke my heart!  Jimmy was the kind of guy that could take someone's frown and turn it around to a smile!  He always made me laugh!  Such a beautiful person with a huge heart of love!  Rest In Peace My Friend! ♡♡♡

Jimmy as we are writing this we are listening to our HEARTS and listening to your favorite song, What I Like About You, which says it all. Jimmy you had the biggest heart and greatest sense of humor when it came to family and especially nephews and nieces and of course friends. Luvee and I have so many memories, you were like our Alice in the Brady Bunch, All of are special memories, fishing trips to the cabin, lake panguitch especially when our wonderful dad came, You always made it so special for dad when he came, he loved the woods too!!  We will always cherish all the wonderful memories at the beach house, stories we will remember for ever. Uncle Jimmy, Brother, Friend and story teller you will never be forgotten. We will see you again in heaven with all of our wonderful family. Love you so much, Rest in Peace knowing that you are pain free. Please send us a sign when you meet the Aliens? We are so sorry for the loss of Jimmy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wonderful family.

Our hearts are broken once again. We will miss Jimmy dearly. My Brother who always lifted my spirits whenever I was around him will always stay as a fond memory to me. His connection with his Nieces and Nephews was a true blessing and something they all will cherish forever. Jimmy was truly amazing and very personable. He never met a stranger and in a room full of people he would  command their attention with his incredible story telling. This was simply one of many fine qualities that he possessed. It was so sad to hear about the loss of another cousin.  Jimmy will be missed by his family.  As cousins we only saw each other when we visited or at family events.  I remember Jimmy as Booger.  Distance takes us apart from our Family but we are always still Family.  I love all my cousins.  Jimmy RIP.  Love your Cousin Georgia (Garcia) Thorp.

My favorite memories of Jimmy are at the lake and being serenaded to the song "sky pilot" at a party.....it was random and hilarious.  I was humbled and honored to find that he kept the letter of recommendation I wrote for him in 1998.
