Joan Patricia Zaranti, 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away at her home on Tuesday February 9, 2016. Joan was born January 4, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Laura Bialas. Joan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Joan also had a passion for the Chicago Cubs. She will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husbands’ John Sroka and George Zaranti. She is survived by her daughters Chris Sroka-Williams Steve); daughter Laurie Sroka; daughter Angela (Robert) Casto; sons Sammy (Suzanne) Zaranti and Tony (Christi) Zaranti; grandson Ryan Casto and granddaughter Kayla Casto; sister Barbara (George) Ruediger; niece Susan ( Randy) Heybl and her nephew Dan ( Gina) Ruediger. Visitation will be held Thursday February 18th from 4-7 pm at Palm Mortuary 1600 South Jones Blvd. Funeral Mass will be on Friday February 19th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church 7260 West Sahara Ave
