John J. Morrello, 80, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. He was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Amsterdam, N.Y., and was a resident of Nevada since 1978. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired printer owner/operator. John was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Morrello. John is survived by his wife, Theresa A. Morrello; sons, Mike A. (Marlow) and John E. (Gina) Morrello; daughter, Mary E. (Brian) Stroud; brother, Anthony Morrello, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Mary Verteramo-DeLuca of Amsterdam, N.Y., and Eleanor Nadzan of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Donations can be made to the ALS Association of Nevada.
