Jose (Lito) I Garcia

Jose (Lito) I. Garcia was born August 10, 1947 in Manila, Philippines to his parents, Jose and Emilia Garcia. When Lito was four years old he entered an amateur singing contest and was awarded second place. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He played pickup basketball games and loved riding his motorcycle with his close friends. He graduated from Ramon Magsaysay High School in Manila, Philippines in 1965. On February 22, 1971 Jose married Leonora Pamintuan Agustin at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Manila, Philippines. He was a driver for the Philippine Population Commission. Through this job he was able to see the wonders of the Philippines from Luzon to Mindanao. In 2008, Lito and his wife, Nora relocated to Las Vegas to be with the rest of their family. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 29, 2017. Jose is survived by his wife, Leonora Agustin. His sons and their spouses: Ismael (Myke) and Maria Mendez; Alan (Jones) and Ralita DeCoito; Erwin (King) and Giselle DeMesa. His grandchildren: Rosmine, Jasmin, Idalis, Elijah, Kaimalu, Kainoa, CJ and his great grandson Isaiah. His sisters, Josefina (Pinit) and Joseph Rayray, and Prisilla Paulino ( Chi ), sister in law Carmelita Zabala Garcia. Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
