Dear Patty, Lisa, Michelle, Trisha and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, and what a wonderful, beautiful family you all are. Rich and I are so happy to have been a part of your lives for many years. Over the years we have made so many memories together, but the best was being with you all for Joe’s 80th birthday celebration. We were so happy to share that day with him. We will never forget his face when he saw us all. PRICELESS.
We will always carry Joe in our hearts. Every time I make a pot of sauce or a fried bologna sandwich, I will especially think of him. Joe was a really good guy, everyone liked him, employees and customers both. He was part of our Riviera family and we mourn his passing.

My heartfelt condolences go out to my best friend Lisa, Michelle, Tricia and the rest of your family members.  I have know you all for decades and we are like family.  Joe was a very special man and you were lucky to have him as a father and grandfather.  I know he loved you with all his heart.  
There are so many memories we all share, and I will cherish each and every one of them.  
I hope you know how much I love you and I wish there was something I could do or say to take away the pain.

I met Joe 30 years ago. He was a lifelong friend of my father in law, Peter Vitale. 
This guy! Always working out, always tan and haircut every two weeks.  I know this because for years he had a standing appointment with me for that haircut. I always knew if he got to the salon before me. Just look for the license plate  DABILLS! We always had such fun and great talks. Pushed each other's buttons a little but in good fun. He helped me alot with our talks this past year. He was always a great support. I adored Joe and will miss him dearly.

I was fortunate to meet Joe about 12 years ago at the Las Vegas Athletic Club. We became work out partners, well he trained me on the weights. After our workouts we would go to the snack bar and order smoothies. People would walk by and everyone called him the Mayor.  We got to socialize and always had pizza. He liked to golf. I didn't but I went along as his caddy. The stories he would tell were always funny and he gave me an interesting history of Las Vegas and Buffalo. I will always remember our friendship and I thought of him like a brother. One day we will meet again and if there is a golf course I'm your caddy. Love you man and thanks for your kindness to me and my wife Claudette.

Joe, you are one of my best friends. I’m sorry you’re gone. I’m going to miss our weekly talks. You are so very special to me. You will be missed and I love you very much. I’ll miss you and our many laughs.

I was a teammate of Joe’s in 1957 when we won the 12 and under PAL baseball championship. Over the years when I saw Joe in Vegas we would reminisce about those cherished days. Over the last several years as Joe bravely fought the fight I would text him and would share our life stories. I am glad that I will be in Vegas on March 21 to attend his remembrance ceremony and pay my respects to a wonderful person. RIP my friend
