Judith Anne Harrington, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 1, 1939 and moved to Las Vegas at the age of 15. She was a member of Bishop Gorman High School’s first graduating class in 1957 and was a proud 66-year resident of Las Vegas. After graduating from Webster University in St. Louis in 1961, Judy returned to Las Vegas and spent much of her professional life and career as a social worker in the healthcare industry, specializing mostly in hospice care and working at several well-known organizations in the area, including Nathan Adelson, Vista and Odyssey Hospices. She is survived by her son Tom Harrington and his partner Brian Bolster of Los Angeles, CA; her son Danny Harrington and his wife Adria along with their daughters Alexa & Kelsey of Northridge, CA; and her sister Jo Anne Embry of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years William Harrington and her parents Jane & Walter Thorworth. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00am on Saturday, May 22 at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, located 1325 N Main Street. Las Vegas, NV 89101, and a celebration of her life for all family and friends will immediately follow at a private residence.
