Ken Hammond, 90, of Las Vegas, passed away on May 6, 2014. He was born in Rupert, Idaho in 1923, served during WWII, was a longtime resident of Chicago and retired to Las Vegas in 1988. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jennie Hammond and Adeline Hammond (first wife). He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hammond; son, Richard (Suzanne) Hammond; daughters, Kathi Coyle and Debi (Bill) Fanning; step-family, Melanie (Max) Breedlove; a beloved grandfather to fourteen and great grandfather to five; he will be missed by family and friends.
