The beloved Kim Hue Miller passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2021 at age 77 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born and raised in Vietnam, mainly around Saigon. She raised 4 children, Phuong Lisa Nguyen, Hoang Nguyen, Sonny Nguyen, and Trang Nguyen there until 1979 when she came to America and married her now late husband, Charles Glenn Miller, who passed in January of 1981 and in March of the same year birthed her youngest Lily-Ann Jacobs (Miller). She lived most of her life in New Jersey with Lily until February 2020 when she moved into the care of her eldest, Lisa Nguyen, until her last day.
She is survived by 1 remaining sister, Lana Palladino, her 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren who all absolutely adore her.
During her long, adventurous life, she had owned and run multiple businesses in Vietnam and in America including a barber shop, a grocery store, and nail salons. During her life in America, she traveled back to Vietnam several times to visit remaining family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and traveling when she could. Then helping raise some of her grandchildren until they could outrun her.
Miss Kim made a lot of sacrifices for many of those around her. She was selfless and generous with anything she could give including her love and possessions. She loved unconditionally and encouraged others to do the same. Those who have had the pleasure to get to know her, simply adored her. She was sweet, kind, gentle, and always had a quiet smile on her face. She will be dearly missed by many.
Her viewing will be on Wednesday, August 11th starting at 9am to be immediately followed by cremation at the Palm Mortuary / Dignity Memorial Services in Downtown Las Vegas.
