Larry D. Denny M.D., 64, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 22, 2015. He was born on October 22, 1950 to John and Liela Denny in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Medic. He went to school at University of Texas San Antonio for his Bachelor of Arts. He got his Doctorate Degree at University of Texas Galveston School of Medicine and did his Orthopedic Residency at LSU Shreveport. Larry was a Las Vegas Valley orthopedic surgeon for 27 years. He was loved by his patients and friends because of his "regular guy" attitude. He healed and touched many lives. Larry is survived by his wife of 22 years Kim; his daughter Avery Joy Denny and his three sons, Chris Kintz, Michael Sarkis and Matthew Sarkis; his father, John Denny; sister Cynthia Jo Miller. A Celebration of life ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131.
