Liza C. Miller, 65, passed away July 2, 2010, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas. She was born in Nesmith, S.C., to the late James and Mary Cooper. She lived in Connecticut for 32 years and spent the last 14 years in Las Vegas. She worked at American Airlines for 17 years. She was an active member of First A.M.E. Church in Las Vegas, and performed extensive volunteer work. Liza "Dill" is survived by her loving and devoted husband, of 43 years, Paul Miller; children, Angela Miller and Scot (Georgiana) Miller; grandchildren, Alex, Gabriana, Logan and MacKenzie; one "adopted" daughter, Gwendolyn Willey-Fuller; four brothers; three sisters; and two sisters-in-law. A wake service will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, at First A.M.E. Church, 2446 Revere St., N. Las Vegas.
