Margaret S. Roser of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully under the compassionate care of Guardian Angels Home Helpers and Rhythm of Life Hospice on January 3, 2018. Margaret was born in Beaver Falls, PA, on July 1, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Donald McLean and Laura Rossa Hamilton. She and her husband of sixty-six years, John Roser (Mike), left Beaver County and settled in the San Fernando Valley of California. It was there that they made their home and welcomed many visitors to the Los Angeles area.
Upon retirement, Googie (as she was affectionally known), moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She and Mike continued their life, welcoming many visitors to their Las Vegas home. She was a gracious hostess and enjoyed her family and friends.
Margaret leaves her family and friends to cherish her memory. In particular, she leaves her beloved niece and goddaughter, Laurie Burnette-Shook of East Palestine, OH, who stood by her Aunt’s side, helping her and Uncle Mikey navigate the turbulent waters of declining health. She is also survived by two beloved sisters, Elizabeth Peterson and Sandy Belczyk both of Beaver Falls, PA. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Donald McLean of Beaver Falls. She also leaves a host of friends and family to cherish her wicked sense-of-humor and her unwavering strength. Her primary caretaker, who was by her side when she transitioned, holds a special place in our hearts. Budz Del Rosario stood by Googie’s side during the most trying times and is considered our son and brother. Googie also leaves another precious niece, Carol Krall of Monaca, PA to cherish her memory. Special friends, Jim Saracino and Terry Clayton were very dear to Googie and they, too, stood by her side during declining health. Googie’s memory is also cherished by another dear friend, Maureen Hinnah of St. Charles, MO.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan 8, 2018 from 4PM to 8PM at Palm Mortuary South Jones. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Jan 9, 2018 at 10AM at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117.
The family would like to thank Guardian Angel Home Helpers and Rhythm of Life Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during the past several months.
