In loving memory of Mary Ann Sokol, 82, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away November 22, 2012. She was born October 2, 1930 in Washington Park, IL, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1992, and a former member of the Las Vegas Master Gardeners Association. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth F. Sokol; son, K. Michael Sokol; daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Sokol-Van Vliet; and granddaughter, Taryn Weslie Van Vliet. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jo Field and Jean Weidemiller; and brother, Joseph Konecnik. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 26th at 2:00PM at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
