Mary Kathleen McCarthy Ricketts

Kathleen Ricketts, 81, a resident of Las Vegas for 47 years, passed away Aug. 18, 2013. Kathleen retired from University Medical Center billing department. Her greatest joys in life were her husband, daughters, family and friends. She loved to travel, including to Ireland, cruise, read, bird-watching, and her latest talent for which she excelled at was painting. Kathleen's husband, Thomas Ricketts, preceded her in death; as did her daughter, Constance Harvey; and her parents, Laurence and Mary Alice McCarthy, for whom she was the only child. She is survived by her five daughters, Carol Keiper and husband, Keith, Lisa Koehler and husband, Brian, Meiri Pike, Tommi Wollerton and husband, Shawn, Laura Danbury and Mitchell Danbury; grandchildren, Bobbi Hasler, Allanah Keiper, Candace Keiper, Conan Harvey, Ryan Harvey, Morgan Harvey, Marc Preston Jr. and wife, Janelle, Elizabeth Preston, Faith Koehler, Amanda Lamont and husband, Mike, Zachary Wollerton, Erin Wollerton, Cameron Danbury and Chance Danbury; great-grandchildren, Annastasia Flannery, Erica Hasler, Derek Hasler, Daimian Harvey, Cirian Harvey, Haley Preston, Amber Hufford, Seth Hufford, Madison Hufford, Harmonie Preston, Kathleen Preston and Marc Preston III; honorary family members, Frankie Danbury, Darryl-David Diehr, Lisa Marie Sharron, Debbie Goad, Charles Goad and Steven Goad. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Our Lady of Victory Traditional Catholic Church, 1575 E. Windmill Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Palm Memorial Park-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101. There will be a gathering following services at the home of Kathleen Ricketts to celebrate another angel in Heaven.
