Michael "Mike" Bush, 75, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Dec. 7, 2015. Mike retired in 1980 from 22 years in the military, having served one year in Vietnam. After being stationed in many different places, including five years in Germany, Mike and Judy moved to Las Vegas in 1981. Mike's employment in Nevada was with NSTec and NV Energy, which he retired from as Sr. Coordinator, Corporate Security in 2007. Mike enjoyed hiking, camping, mountain climbing, and visiting with friends.
Mike was born in Junction City, Kansas on June 25, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Turner and Lauraetta Bush, and his brother, Stephen Bush. Mike is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Bush.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 2:00pm at Palm Mortuary Northwest, 6701 N Jones Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, Mike's wishes were that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
