Michael J. Morrill, 62, of North Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. He was born Oct. 13, 1950, in Creston, Iowa, and was a Nevada resident since 1978. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a casino risk manager. He was married to Vicki Morrill, his wife of 39 years, and had a life-long love affair with cars. He was preceded in death by his father, F.B. Morrill. He is survived by wife, Vicki; daughter, Brooke (Steve) Wickett; mother, Inez Morrill; grandchildren, Avery, Carlee, Jamesen and Elijah; sister, Linnea Morris; brother, Hugh (Rose) Morrill; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas
